Shelley Russell is a shareholder with the Portland firm of Crispin Employment Lawyers where she practices primarily in the area of employment law, with the occasional PI case thrown in to keep things interesting. She has been active in the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) since 1994, participating in and being a past co-chair of the Women’s Caucus, the education committee, development committee, and membership committee. She is currently serving on the budget committee and legislative committee, and has been a member of the Board since 2001. She was recently elected OTLA President for the 2014-2015 term.
Shelley is also active in the OSB, having served on the CLE committee, the Washington County LPRC, and two terms on the Council on Court Procedures.
Shelley has written for OTLA publications, including the Side Bar and the Trial Lawyer, and is a co-author with Paula Barran of the OSB Federal Civil Litigation Manual section on Jury Verdicts.
Shelley has spoken at CLE’s for the MBA, FBA Young Lawyer’s Section, NBI, OTLA and OSB on topics relating to general litigation and employment law matters.
