I received my undergraduate degree from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and attended the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Lansing, Michigan. While I am a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest I am happy to call Oregon my home.
One of the best parts of living in Oregon is the access to outdoor activities. I enjoy skiing, bike riding, and hiking with my dog, Suzy. On rainy days I like to play the guitar, brew beer, and cook vegetables from my garden.
My current practice is focused on family law, such as adoptions, divorce, domestic partnership dissolution, child custody and modifications, support issues and modifications, and restraining orders. I also assist clients with matters relating to estate planning, probate, guardianships and conservatorships.
I believe that treating my clients in an honest and compassionate manner is the best way to approach a case. My goal is to provide you with the best possible legal representation, while providing upfront expectations and guidance throughout your matter.
If you would like to discuss your legal matter with me, please contact me at 503-4726-5207 to schedule a consultation. I hope to help you get the solutions you need.

I had the opportunity to work with Ben on a custody case and I know why he has so many endorsements from fellow attorneys in the area. He approached our case with a reasonable and collaborative mindset, which was instrumental in resolving our clients' dispute without a costly trial This saved both of our clients time, money and unnecessary litigation. I look forward to working with him again.

Ben took time out of his busy schedule to consult with me on a guardianship matter. He conducted research on his own time and quickly pointed me in the right direction. His knowledge, skill and competence surpassed my expectations.
