About me

Mark's been at the forefront of the struggle to bring equality to Oregon's gay and lesbian citizens for 25 years. As a family law attorney, he helps clients transition to post-divorce life as safely and smoothly as possible. Caring and analytical, he enjoys helping people improve their lives. Among many other accomplishments, he is former president of the Oregon State Bar and former president of the Oregon Gay and Lesbian Law Association. He recently returned to Gevurtz Menashe after many years in sole and small-firm practice followed by time earning a Master of Laws degree in International Law from Willamette University.

When he's not practicing law, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and going to the theater. He loves traveling overseas and then coming home to Portland.
