I went to law school with the intention of making the world safe for gays and lesbians everywhere. I am lucky enough to be spending much of my time doing just that.
My firm represents clients in family matters from adoption to estate planning to business to divorce and custody. I focus my practice on adoption, donor agreements, surrogacy agreements, and partnership agreements. My associate, Beth Wolfsong, focuses her practice on estate planning, and divorce and custody.
Most of or clients are from the LGBT community, but not all. Many straight allies come to our firm because they believe that what we do is good for the whole community. I like to think of us as representing wonderful people from all walks of life, from all over Oregon who want a lawyer who understands who they are, what they value, and what they need. As a Souther Oregon gay who is a non-bio lesbian mom of a beautiful child, as a former employent lawyer, as a woman who wants the right to marry my life partner, I understand better than many others.
I spend my legal "free time" working on LGBT legal advocacy. I'm proud of my decades of work and the results we've seen, and I look forward to the years ahead as we begin to make huge positive strides in equality. Marriage equality has been my primary focus since law school, and I believe it is achievable in my lifetime.
At Beth Allen Law PC, All Families Matter. I hope you will call us when you need legal services.
