2002-2007, Vice-President of Business Affairs for music publishing company in Los Angeles.

 

Prior experience as artist manager and attorney for major concert promotion company, and as outside counsel for major computer game company.

 

Publications

 

Co-author of chapter ("Contracts and Relationships between Major Labels and Independent Labels") in The Musician’s Business and Legal Guide, a book compiled by the Beverly Hills Bar Association and published by Prentice-Hall Publishing (4th ed. 2007). The chapter explores in detail record distribution agreements, joint ventures, incubator deals, upstreaming deals, production deals, equity deals, and master licensing agreements.


Co-author of the book "Music Is Your Business: The FourFront Strategy for Success," published in 2007.


Author, “The Seven-Year Law",2003, cited in “California Labor Code Section 2855 and Contracts”, 116 Harvard Law Review 2632 (June, 2003).
