About Me

Welcome. Thank you for your interest in my profile.  I have been a lawyer 34 years and the
recipient of numerous awards and publisher of many articles.  I was the recipient of the Trial Lawyer of
the Year Award, issued by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice in 1997.   This was in recognition of the work I did in
Kirkwood v. General Motors—an
automotive crashworthiness case.  My
practice largely focuses on automobile crashworthiness cases, medical
malpractice cases and catastrophic injury cases.  In 2001, I successfully petitioned the
National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration to recall the passenger side
air bag in 1994 Nissan Altima vehicles.
This is the only time NHTSA has ever ordered a recall of an air bag due
to design deficiencies.  Dateline NBC
devoted a story to this accomplishment.
I work hard to compassionately represent the interests of my clients,
keeping each one fully abreast of developments in his or her case.  Please stop by my website for client and
lawyer testimonials and further information about my practice:  www.baronlawfirm.com.
