David Eder is partner at Thuemmel, Uhle & Eder. David and his partners are widely regarded as some of the most talented, hardest advocating and most effective trial lawyers in the State of Oregon. David will handle all types of litigation but focus primariy on D.U.I.I./criminal defense and personal injury cases.
Thuemmel, Uhle & Eder has tried over 2,000 jury trials. David has been a featured speaker on Prostecuting and Defending D.U.I.I.s, Deposition/Adminstrative hearings, Cross Examination and Advanced Litigation techniques. David has spent time working with the crash reconstruction teams, major crime divisions, D.U.I.I. units and the lead attorney on various civil litigation matters. His experience as a prosecutor and civil litigator adds a tremendous asset to any criminal or personal injury case. David has extensive knowlege of the vehicle code, medical record review, case negotiation, deposition and trial skills.
David has been named nationally as one of the Top 1% of Lawyers by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. David is the only lawyer in the State to be named one of the top 25 lawyers under the age of 40 for the three years the Daily Journal of Commerce ranked the 5,000 lawyers in the State of Oregon. He has also been listed as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2016 as one of two D.U.I.I. lawyers. In 2010, David attended the National Advocacy Center jury selection training for lawyers that tried over 50 jury trials and recieved the top score from this national trial college and an invitation to return as an instructor.
David grauted from the University of Oregon School of Law and was the school's mock trial and negotiation moot court competion winner. David has served as the Chair of the Oregon New Lawyers Division and spearheaded a project to help underemployed or unemployed lawyers receive practical skill building job opportunities. This program was named the National Outstanding Young Lawyer Project for the entire country by the American Bar Association in 2010.
