    2008 DUII Arrest

Mr. Hingson , represented me during a lengthy , somewhat questionable , DUII stop and subsequent arrest. The reprentation of Mr. Hingson for me at the Oregon Implied Consent DMV hearing , allowed me to retain my CDL , as he was able to prove questionable testing , as well as inaccurate statements made , by the arresting officer. During the actual DUII trial he also was able to prove multiple discrepancies by the arresting officers , resulting in failure by the District Attorneys office , to prove beyond reasonable doubt my guilt. The case was dismissed February 11 2011. I will always hold John Henry Hingson III in high regards. In my opinion, a excellent attorney.

    Worst ever!!

Secured representation for DUI offense from Hingson, as he was recommended and highly rated on Internet sites . The cost? A mere $20,000. He NEVER communicated with me despite our agreement that he would discuss merits of case, allow me to hire another Attny, and refund money if there was nothing he could do for me. First discussion was half hour before court when he handed me a guilty plea agreement which consisted of jail time, electronic monitoring, 1 year driving suspension, 2 year probation monitored by DOC weekly, alcohol treatment, and more. It was my 2nd DUI in 8 yrs, he told me it was a hell of a deal. Informed later by probation officer, I should have gone with public defender since it was a standard plea agreement. Got screwed and charged the full $20,000. Took every dime I had and now need to pay thousands for plea requirements.

    Best Possible Legal Representation

Mr. Hingson III provided me the best possible legal representation—all of the charges against me have been dropped. I am 100% confident that without John Henry I would be facing desperate times.

    Pity the poor ADA

I pity the ADA that locked horns with John Henry in my case. Duck and cover would have been his best strategy. J.H. is one kick ass great lawyer.
