Mr. Richard L Holcomb did a great job representing me. I was in my senior year of college when I got my DUI. Being a international student from Costa Rica this entire procedure was new and very scary for me. Mr. Holcomb took the time to make sure I understood every part of the legal procedure and explained in detail various ways we could go about doing things.
After I decided what I wanted to do, he started doing all the work needed. Contacting him was never an issue he was there for me whenever I needed it.
What amazed me the most was the end result of all the process. Mr. Holcomb was able to the case dropped. This was a dream come true for me since a criminal record was the last thing I wanted after spending 4 years in college.

Rick was very upfront about my case and almost made me feel like a lawyer by informing me of all directions i could take with my case. Mr. Holcomb had my case dismissed and saved me from the massive fines, jail time and overall mess of having a DUI on your record. Furthermore, Rick made it quite reasonable to afford his services by allowing me to make payments that were not wallet busting. Rick answered every question i had and also returned my calls in a timely manner. Almost as important, Rick is widely known in the legal field as a lawyer who is not afraid to test the waters of supreme court if the law is incorrect making in my opinion, some judges and prosecutors willing to settle or dismiss to deal with another lawyer they feel they can beat. After getting a second DUI I called my cousin who already had a few. He referred me to Richard Holcomb wo had just helped him win his case which was his third DUI. He said he didn't have to do any jail time and got his license back. So I thought why not... All of my friends told me I was wasting my money, but after meeting with Rick who seemed very knowledgeable, I decided to go with it. My first DUI dragged on for over a year and because of Rick my second lasted just over six months. I also was allowed to drive the whole time. My second DUI also came with an excessive speeding ticket both was dismissed with prejudice. Rick is like the Jerry Maguire of lawyers. He doesn't have tons of clients but he works very hard for his clients and gives updates often. But the main thing I like about Rick is not that he wins but he cares about his clients well-being.

When I first got my OVUII I spent hours looking through internet ads for attorneys for help in my case. I came across Mr. Holcomb's name from reviews and information on his site and I decided to have a consultation. He sat me down for about 2 hours and broke down my case and what defense he would take over the following months should my case go to trial. It was one of the reasons I chose him to be my attorney. He took the time, when he didn't need to, to bring it down to a level that I could understand. Second reason was that he broke up his expenses into 2 separate payments; one for the intial fees and investigation, and the second upon his recommendation and findings. He was upfront and honest about the chances of success, and explained everything in great detail that he had done and discovered on my behalf. I was able to reach him on the phone, and even when he was unable to answer he was extremely quick to call me back. He always had time for me and never made me feel as if I was wasting his time or that I was an annoyance for bothering him. He always sent me updates of my case in the mail and I never had to worry that he wasn't acting in my best interest. Because of all this Mr. Holcomb won both my ADLRO and OVUII cases. I am 26 years old and had just recently moved back to Hawaii from California. I had gotten my third DUI shortly after. In despiration, I was in search for a DUI Lawyer which could get me out of this crisis I had put myself into. I came across Richard Holcomb, which from my first meeting, I was very impressed with his knowledge of DUI cases and situations. He presented my chances and possible outcomes realistically. My case was very technical and seemed not in my favor. We did lose my first court case, which a 2 year license revocation was sentenced. I also felt that he took my loss personally. Mr. Holcomb, then offered me the option of an appeal upon my losing case. It was as if he was in for the long haul to help me and do whatever he had to, to have this sentence reversed. He constatnly kept in touch with me to keep me updated on his work in my defense. To make a long story short, on November 26, 2010, we went to court and no matter what happened I was glad that he was on my side defending me. We didn't get the results that day because the judge said he had to write up a Judges Opinion Letter. He called me four days later, with the greatest news. We had won.
