About me

Matthew Crider provides a wide range of family law, divorce, and estate planning services, advising individuals and families on how to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their assets. His family law and divorce practice focuses on providing sound legal advice and being a strong advocate for his clients.

His estate planning practice focuses on preserving wealth by providing comprehensive, highly personalized estate planning counsel to couples, families, individuals and business owners.

He serves his clients by listening closely to their goals, dreams and concerns and working with them to resolve their legal issues.

His clients include individuals, young families with minor children, families with special needs children of all ages, and entrepreneurs with business considerations. His philosophy is based on a forward-thinking approach focused on resolving issues and solving problems.

Matthew is an active member of the legal community, is a former Treasurer of the Placer County Bar Association, and is a former Chairman of Northern California Lawyer Access, a non-profit lawyer referral service.

Matthew is licensed to practice law in California and Texas, and is accredited by the Department of Veteran Affairs to assist veterans in filing claims.

Matthew speaks frequently to public and private groups on issues of family law, estate planning, elder law, veterans benefits, special needs planning, and business succession planning.

Matthew lives in Davis, California with his wife and two young children.
