The first thing you need to do is get to a doctor. The next thing you should do is contact an attorney. Most attorneys who work in personal injury offer a free consultation. The attorney can then advise you as to whether his or her services are warranted in your case.

I wish you the very best of luck in dealing with these circumstances.

There are many factors that go into evaluation "case value." It is impossible for anyone to tell you what the value of your case is without more facts than are presented here. I recommend you contact an attorney without delay.

I wish you well in dealing with these difficult circumstances.

  • How long after an accident do i have to retain a personal injury lawyer in California?

I got in an auto accident not my fault and need surgery on my hand have not had the opportunity to retain council its only been 2weeks

    Joshua’s Answer

I would recommend you contact an attorney without delay. In California you have two years from the date of injury to bring a claim, unless the claim is against a public entity, in which case you only have six months. Contact an attorney as soon as possible.

I wish you well in dealing with these unfortunate circumstances.

I am truly sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstances that have befallen you and your daughter. As a father, I cannot imagine the emotions that you have gone through and I hope that you are both okay.

This type of question cannot be answered with a simple post on this website. There would have to be a certain level of investigation to determine who is truly at fault. The officer's determination as to who is the cause is not dispositive. I would recommend that you contact an attorney without delay. It may be that a complaint needs to be filed before all of the investigation is complete. Thus, I would recommend that you contact an attorney with a history of taking cases to trial.

I wish you the best of luck in dealing with these unfortunate circumstances and I hope that you find a good attorney to assist you.

I am so sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstances that led you to post on this site. I would contact an attorney without delay. Insurance companies often prey on your inexperience with motor vehicle collisions to get information that they are not entitled to. (ex. recorded statement or authorization to release health information) An attorney can help you navigate all of the legal aspects of the claim while you are recovering. This will allow you to focus on the most important thing, getting the medical care you need.

There are many personal injury attorneys in your area (and by your area I mean the Sacramento area). I know that my firm has prosecuted a number of cases in your area as I'm sure many others from Sacramento have as well. I would encourage you to seek assistance as soon as you can.

Once again, I am very sorry to hear of your unfortunate circumstances and hope that whomever you choose to represent you helps you prosecute your claim to a positive conclusion.

  • Husband swallowed metal from food that was served, it looked like a piece of the fryer basket, do we have a case?

We were eating at Outback. He has abrasions in his throat from the metal. Management took the blooming onion and his meal off the bill to compensate.

    Joshua’s Answer

There are so many aspects that go into whether you have a case or not that it is impossible with such litle information to give an accurate answer. Based on the limited information that you have given, I would say that you may have a claim and you should contact an attorney without delay. The attorney you speak to should be able to ask the right questions to make sure that you have a claim.

I am very sorry to hear of the circumstances that led you to post this and I hope your husband has a speedy recovery.

  • I got attacked by my neighbors pit bulls on my own property what do i do

I was bit multiple times on the arm on both ankles and on my middle finger my wife try to get them off me and was bit on her hand i was also bit on my feet and my toes

    Joshua’s Answer

I am very sorry to hear about this injury. There are a couple of questions that will need to be answered by your attorney first and foremost. 1) Is your neighbor (who owned the Pitbull) a homeowner or a renter? This will be essential to establishing who is liable for your injuries. 2) Has this dog exhibited violent behavior before? While the answer to this question is not determinative as to whether you have a claim, it is certainly important to the case. As stated above, there are many questions that need to be answered and a good attorney should be able to ask the appropriate questions to properly evaluate your claim.

You should seek the necessary medical treatment and also contact an attorney in the area. I know here in Sacramento, there are quite a few attorneys who handle dog bite cases (including myself).

I wish you the best of luck in dealing with these unfortunate circumstances and encourage you to find an attorney as soon as you are medically able.

    Joshua’s Answer

You should call some of the personal injury attorneys in your area. The issue is collecting a judgment in this situation. Most of the personal injury attorneys I know tend to focus on physical injuries with accompanying economic and noneconomic damages because of the availability of insurance coverage to pay the judgment. Unfortunately, most people do not have sufficient assets or funds to pay a significant judgment.

This sounds like a very personal situation and I'm sorry for the circumstances that led you to post on this site.
