Attorney John Demas is an extraordinary lawyer. In 2010 I was struck by a car at dusk while walking across a crosswalk. I was lucky to have not broken my neck but was out of work for weeks, coming back to work and dealing with the incident was confusing. My friend helped me to find John, who listened to my case, looked over all the paperwork and said he could absolutely help. He helped and more, he would check in to see how I was doing, made sure I was taking my time and not rushing the case. The car first struck my right leg. I was unable to do much physical exercise for a while and it was not for 6 months did I realize the problem with my leg, which I had to get surgery on for a meniscus tear resulting from being struck by the car. Had John not told me to be patient and make sure I am as close to 100% as possible this surgery would not have occurred. I am pretty sure he even called while he was on vacation to make sure everything was going alright. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with him and his firm. I would highly recommend John Demas to anyone in need of a personal injury lawyer, he is excellent!

I would not hesitate to recommend the services of John Demas and his office to handle a personal injury claim. I was in a serious car accident in 2007 and my partner was injured to the extent of becoming a quadriplegic as a result. The other driver was at fault and was underinsured. We were able to get a full settlement (policy limits) for her, but the more complicated issues of the case involved myself. As a registered domestic partner I was not recognized legally as a "spouse," and could have received little to no settlement compensation. In addition, my injury claim was very minor. Because of John's tenancity, advocacy and novel legal arguments, he was able to obtain for me a full settlement (policy limits) for my claim -- something not expected or most probably, not been done before for a registered domestic partner. I would strongly recommend him and his office. They really cared about us and did everything in their power to help us.

When I met John I had no idea how to pick the right attorney so I left it up to the only thing I could trust, My gut. From the day I met him he told me that he would not make me any promises. He said I had a good case and that he would do his best to help me.
I had been injured in a motor vehicle accident and had already had a back surgury that failed. I was currently back to work, but I knew I couldn't do it much longer. Over the next 2 1/2 years John and his staff became like a part of my family. A person I trusted and knew he would be there whenever I called. He always gave me good advice and helped me make the right decisions.
My case ended up going to a superior court trial against The County of Sacramento, an experience that I would never want to go through again. 8 of the most emotional days of my life. In the end we were awarded 4.5 million dollars.
I truly believe that John Demas was the difference in that case, and I know he would be there for all his clients.
