Last year I ran into some unfortunate legal issues and was left looking for an attorney for the first time in my life. I checked this same site and set up three free consultations with top rated lawyers, Josh being one. He stood out from the beginning in the way he truly seemed to care about me, I didn't feel like just another client.
Throughout the legal process Josh kept me informed and also calm. In fact, after everything was done, he called me to check on how I was doing. He was truly an asset to me and I highly recommend him to anyone in need.

I am a medical professional and was particularly worried about losing my professional license, so I needed representation that was not only excellent in terms of legality and DUI’s but also to have someone well versed working with professionals and the nuances that come with state licensing boards. He showed great expertise in this field, and even when he did not know the answer to a particular question he was diligent in sorting through the matter and quickly getting the information needed to help my case and maintain licensure. My case was especially complicated and Josh has been excellent throughout this ordeal. After some difficult hurdles he was able to get my charge lowered to a Wet and Reckless, all the while maintaining communication with my licensing board, in order to ensure no problems with my professional license. I was even able to get a professional license in other states after this ordeal. Josh goes above and beyond, and he is clearly an asset to have when you need representation that requires both expertise in DUI law and handling professional licenses.

The moment you walk into his office, you'll recognize Joshua is incredibly passionate about his profession. I had the fortune of learning about Joshua's career and from that I was able to determine that this is lawyer I want to represent me.
When I was charged with a DUI I felt an overbearing amount of dread around me. Joshua, pulled me out of this with his incredible amount of knowledge in dealing with cases similar to mine. Even after the case ended he continued to surprise me with following through with legal advice and what steps I should take next following my dismissal.
If you only decide to talk to one lawyer, let Joshua be the guy you call first.

I got into a bit of a jam when I chose to drink and drive one night a few months ago. At first I called a good friend who practices law and asked if he could help me out with my case and also save me some money in the process. He was willing to help, but after hearing the details of my case he highly recommended Josh, a guy who he said "knows everything about DUI cases." Sure it cost me more money, but it was worth it because Josh handled my case with extreme professionalism and kept me informed and in the loop at all times. If you are skeptical of lawyers taking your money and not fulfilling a good job, no need to worry here! Josh is the guy you can trust to do the best he can with your case!

After first conversation I had with Mr. Kaizuka about my case I knew I was going to hire him. Not because he tried to sell me but for reasons of honesty about my case, being informative about rules/regulations in regard to my arrest and judicial system, and extreme professionalism.
I had two prior DUI cases that I previously got arrested for but never charged a couple years back. After a year in Sacramento county the District Attorney can no longer charge you for a misdemeanor because of statue of limitations. This doesn't mean that the DA wouldn't have looked into my past record saw that they never charged me for the two priors, and definitely could have convicted me for both DUIs. Even though I blew a 0.08 and 0.09 this arrest, they would have looked at those prior cases where I should have been convicted, and would have definitely charged me with a DUI likely with the most severe punishment possible.
As soon as I hired Mr. Kaizuka I no longer had to go to court because he represented me on my behalf. Which if you don't know it's a huge relief in itself. He kept me informed through the process, and broke down best and worst case scenarios so we could strategically come up with solution best suited to my case. When I gave him a call or sent him an email he would always get back to me in a timely fashion. Whenever I didn't understand something pertaining to the case he would always take time to break it down. I ended up getting a reduced wet and reckless charge even with my priors. My punishment was one day of work project,3 month DUI course, one-year suspended license( that's only because of the points on my record or would have been a lot shorter). I don't have to install a breathalyzer in to my vehicle and I also got reduced court fines. This is more than a best case scenario especially considering my record.
Mr. Kaizuka outsmarted the court system in my case. he has shown his expertise in my case with his field of law. He is also a very intelligent individual in the subjects we have discussed outside of my case. I would recommend him to anybody going through a pending DUI charge.

Recently received my first DUI and Josh represented me, kept me informed and was incredibly responsive. I had no idea what I was suppose to do or who to talk to and Josh pointed me in all the right directions; helped me get my SR-22, work project done quickly and intermittent license back as soon as possible . Receiving a DUI is stressful and shameful, yet Josh helped me get past this incident with clarity and confidence. I am grateful to have him help me through this process.

I left California a couple of decades ago to live in another state. I had an outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant issued in California for my arrest; I contacted Mr. Joshua Kaizuka via email, and he immediately responded. I told Mr. Kaizuka that I wanted to resolve this matter; Mr. Kaizuka did so within the day! He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I have never dealt with a Lawyer that was so helpful and responsive like Joshua! I am very grateful for his legal services.

Ok, so you made a mistake and got yourself a DUI... if you're done making mistakes call Joshua Kaizuka! Josh was the only attorney of the many I called that seemed trustworthy, kind and knowledgeable. The very first time I called, he spent over 20 minutes with me. Josh never once made me feel like a criminal which was important to me. He took my case, a BAC of .09 at the scene, .1 blood work at the station, and a speed of 95mph and was intelligent enough and cunning enough to get me a wet reckless with a Helmandollar. Josh never forgot that every one of us has a story and he was able to take mine and get me the best possible verdict. Josh explained every step of the way to me in terms I could easily understand. He was always available to answer any questions I had and demolished my many insecurities. He never gave me false hope yet always remained positive. While he was confident in his abilities he was always clear that there was a possibility that the outcome wouldn't turn out as favorable as it did. With Joshua's hard work the stars aligned and this rare verdict was given . I never once worried about any of the court dates or hearings, when it came time to get an SR22 Josh took care of that too! Yes, there are many budget lawyers out there... but believe me when I tell you, you get what you pay for with Josh. He provided peace of mind and hope for me when I was absolutely sure there was no light at the end of my tunnel. Like I said before, if you're done making mistakes do something smart and hire Joshua, you will not be disappointed, you will, however, be treated kindly, professionally, and with understanding. Josh will do anything in his power to get you the best out come for your case and your story.

As we struggled through our mistakes, Mr. Kaizuka was the best thing that happened to us. As he is a reasonable, knowledgeable, and responsible lawyer, he managed all of the documents, paperwork, meetings, etc. Mr. Kaizuka was very curious and kind with our troubles; however, he provided the best outcome for not only myself, but the entire family. Mr. Kaizuka is greatly appreciated in our family and without question the most efficient DUI lawyer that we have talked to (and there were many). I would recommend him to all of those who end up in the same situation as I have.
