About me

  • In 1994, after practicing in law firms varying in size from 4 to 400 lawyers and having served as the managing partner of a firm, I decided to open my own firm with the narrow focus of securities disputes, investigations, disputes between brokers and firms, and compliance.
  • Over time, my focus expanded to include non-securities employment matters including wage and hour class actions.
  • Our limited focus allows us to provide personal service.
  • By limiting our focus and resisting pressures to grow, we have time for interests outside of the law.  Those interests include music and art as hands-on endeavors.  I took up the guitar a couple of years ago and recently went back to City College to study printmaking.
  • I always have had interests beyond the practice of law.  Before law school, I served as the Supply Officer on a Fast Attack Nuclear Submarine.  I then had the good fortune of participating in the Naval Reserve and retiring as a Captain.  This allowed for travel and exposure to matters outside the practice.
