I reside in Vancouver, WA and got a DUI ticket while on vacation in Sacramento, CA. I am truly grateful to Mr. Campanella for taking the time to educate me of my situation and outlining possible outcomes. His commitment to my case gave me the reassurance to carry-on with my life. John came highly recommended, and also had great reviews online, so I hired him to handle my DUI case. I am very happy that I did, as he was helpful, caring and tenacious with my case. This was my first arrest and DUI charge, so naturally I was frightened. John was always available to answer my questions, and provided me with insight that helped to quell my fears of the legal process I faced. I blew a .08, and a .10 when arrested, and John was able to research the device used, and found it faulty...as it was reading one full point over accuracy. This research, along with a letter provided from John's expert witness on PAS devices, helped me in having my DUI charge reduced down to a Wet and Reckless. I cannot thank John enough for his attention to detail with my case, his consistent tenacity, and great knowledge and passion for the law. I highly recommend Mr. Campanella to anyone facing DUI charges.

Throughout each step of the legal process, John has been responsive, knowledgeable and kind. He has professional curiosity and continuously seeks out specialized education to benefit his clients, giving personal attention to the details of each case. I had law relatives and friends give me legal advice and I represented myself at the arraignment. I could not get the plea from a DUI to a wet-and-reckless and there were a lot of details that at times were overwhelming.

I hired John to take my case and I could not ask for a more knowledgeable and compassionate DUI lawyer. This is his specialty and he demonstrated his skills with the regular contacts I had with him in discussing my case and observing him in court being the prepared and passionate advocate for me. He showed bulldog fight and persistence.

John negotiated a no contest on a lesser charge of wet-and-reckless 9 months after the arrest.

Additionally, after the last court appearance and the plea agreement already set, he helped me with a problem related to my case with the DMV. There was a date discrepancy in one of the documents the county filed and the DMV would not allow me to receive my driver's license. My attempts at speaking to a number of DMV personnel were not successful. I called John and he wrote a letter to DMV one day and spoke to a supervisor another day and hours later, I could receive my driver's license. I was impressed with John's continued support.

He did not charge me additionally for the help with getting my driver's license back.

I put myself into a sticky situation and Mr. Campanella helped considerably in making the consequences much less onerous. Not only is he a capable attorney, but actually cares about his clients. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I recently was arrested and charged with a DUI. I looked up the top DUI attorneys in Sacramento. I spoke with most of them and decided to hire John. John was upfront, honest, responsive and helped me the entire way. He was able to dismiss my case entirely and I'm extremely happy to have hired John as my attorney.

I don't have the words to express how grateful I am to Mr. Campanella for achieving a dismissal. It could have easily gone the other way. Since meeting John Campanella in January of 2012, my entire experience has been very positive. I was pulled over for not having mud flaps on my truck! Having had 2 DUI's and on probation I had a couple of drinks waited to go home and was pulled over. After the ordeal my license was taken from me but no DUI was given. The feeling of hopelessness, and anger had set in. I am a 45 year old successful business owner. Getting arrested
again for DUI was a real shocker and set back. When I look back on my arrest I remember feeling embarrassed, angry an hopeless like there was nothing I could do.
A friend of mine referred me to Mr. Campanella who immediately took my call and listened carefully as I explained what had just happened to me. He asked me a series of detailed questions about my case and explained possible defenses that could be raised in my behalf.
In the end he reduced my punishment on a 3rd DUI from 120 days

John Campanella was highly reccomended to me. I had a problem and he was there. He is very skilled with the court system and offers the highest level of client service. He is well respected in the community and offers a "can do" attitude. During my darkest days in 2007 he was always there. He stayed in contact with my Fiancee and mother and reasured them of his presence and never gave up or threw the towel in. He doesn't now the words, "It can't be done". John is a passionate, caring and true professional. I can’t think of anyone else I would would rather have defend me. John was extremly helplful for me under horrible circumstances. He had an answer for every question with a logical reccomendation. He was calm and very comforting with his response. I was quite impressed with John in every aspect. He works diligently to investigate a variety of tactics to carry out his cases. You can count on being informed in a timely fashion. I had faith that John was doing everything he could to either have the case thrown out or win in court. He did not try to sway me as to whether or not to go to trial. He balances being aggressive without annoying the judge, and makes compelling arguments.

I have had to hire several attorneys in the past, all due to a DWI case. Seeing false truths through out my convictions always landed me in the clinker or rather it be in despair.
