Bobbie K. Ross currently serves as Deputy County Counsel to the County of Yuba. Prior to that, she was a Litigation Attorney for Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA) and chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s Second Amendment Civil Rights Subcommittee, which she founded in 2011. Before her employment at HJTA, Ms. Ross worked in private practice, including running her own practice, the Law Office of Bobbie K. Ross. While in private practice, Attorney Ross handled civil litigation, bankruptcy, and constitutional and civil rights-related litigation with an emphasis on the Second Amendment.
Ms. Ross has also externed under the Honorable J. Spencer Letts at the United States District Court for the Central District of California, clerked at private law firms, and helped Holocaust survivors qualify for reparations from the German government. She received the 2012 Defender of Liberty award from Second Amendment Foundation for her work in support of the Second Amendment.
Attorney Ross received her law degree in 2009 from Chapman University, School of Law, with an Alternative Dispute Resolution Emphasis Certificate, and graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2006 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Jewish Studies.
