About me

Principal attorney Justin C. lowenthal, has been a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the State of California since 2010. After graduating law school, Justin opened the predecessor practice to Lowenthal, APC in Davis, his home for over 30 years. For nearly five years Justin has served real estate owners and the general business community in Northern California as legal counsel with respect to a variety of complex business and real estate matters.

For business clientele, the range of legal services Justin offers includes business entity formation, early-stage fundraising, later-stage finance, IP registration and protection, internal and external contract negotiation and preparation, internet and other industry-specific agreements, internal dispute resolution, sales and acquisitions, and much more. Although his services are typically offered in a transactional and preventative context, Justin also represents his clients in litigation including, but not limited to, contract disputes, business separations, shareholder rights enforement, fraud, conversions, and other business torts.

For individual real estate owners, trusts and estates, asset managers, and investors, Justin handles a wide range of real estate legal matters including co-ownership agreements and disputes, zoning and land use, easements, partitions and partnership dissolutions, joint ventures, taxation, loans and finance, leasing, and group investments. As a REALTOR, Justin also represents his clients in real estate sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, and wholesale deals throughout Northern California.

Justin is an entrepreneur and investor himself. He is also a volunteer, and most importantly, a husband and a father. Justin is the Davis Chamber of Commerce's General Counsel and serves as a member of its Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Justin also devotes a portion of his time assisting small business owners and entrepreneurs pro bono.

I have been reading Justin's answers on Avvo for sometime now. He sure knows his business, especially for a relatively new lawyer. If you need an attorney in the Davis area, you would be well-served to allow Mr. Lowenthal to represent you.
