Law is my encore career. I retired from the clinical practice of General Dentistry in 1998 because of a medical disability, and continue to maintain a dental license in order to maintain a certain credibility as a dental continuing education provider. I completed law school in 2000 at age 48, passing the bar in the first available bar exam after graduation. During law school I launched and still own and operate a business solutions management company called ECHELON Consulting. My clients are small closely held businesses. I take great pride in their results. Most of my clients' businesses perform in the top 10 percentile of their category while providing services consistent with personal missions to maintain the highest possible qualities and standards.
My law practice focuses on the business needs of my clients. I believe that sound legal advice and counsel informs the successful business and professional person. My goal is to integrate sound business systems, financial processes, human resource development and management, risk management, wealth accumulation strategies, and personal and professional goals. My processes achieve the overarching positive result of having solid business systems free the entrepreneurial or professional mind to do the creative work, thus creating personal career satisfaction.
