Lucy showed up, an hour late for my very first court date.
She didn't file my income and expense declaration so the judge was forced to deny my two kids a cent of child support for four months. I was a stay home mom so we had nothing to live on. Then she didn't respond to my husbands council and the judge sanctioned me $8000 for her not responding. It was awful. She never even said, sorry. In fact she ran my credit card the day before court for another $5,000.
Then someone from her office signed my name on an income and expense declaration that said, I made $1500 a month in income. That was clearly wrong because I didn't have a job. In court when called out by the judge she said it was a typing mistake. But it was clearly not even my signature .
When I asked for my bill from her office she tried to say that the other attorney in her office gave it to me. And she didn't have another copy. This woman charged me for things she never did. This office made a bad situation so much worse.

We hired her, paid her retainer, but had to let her go for reasons that had nothing to do with her.
Now more than two months later, after countless phone calls, emails, dropping by the office, we have received neither a billing statement nor the retainer. We have gotten a bunch of rather poor excuses - most unprofessional.
Can't attest to her skills as an actually attorney.

When I was calling around for an attorney, Ms. McAllister's paralegal told me she offered a one hour free consultation. This is also advertised on her website. Towards the end of the "free" consultation , I signed an agreement and paid a retainer fee. When I received my statement 6 months later, I saw that I had been charged for the phone calls and emails I had sent to ask about services, rates, and set up an appointment, and the hour consultation was billed as a two hour meeting. I also had problems with Ms. McAllister not sending me copies of documents, and not returning my full file after I seeked representing by another lawyer.
