I'm in solo practice, and my clientele is a mix of individuals, small businesses, and medium-sized businesses.
My individual and businesses practices are relatively distinct. I represent individuals primarily in estate planning, probate, trust disputes, insurance claims, and employment matters. I also represent them in a variety of "financial claims," such as claims against stockbrokers, claims on behalf of shareholders against directors and officers, defamation matters, and breach of contract claims. While I will represent individuals in other areas on occasion I do not accept criminal matters, workers compensation cases, or family law disputes involving child custody issues.
My business practice is equally varied. I can help people start their businesses by advising on the selection of business structure, the drafting of initial documents. I represent businesses in various types of contract and tort litigation during their existence, and provide ongoing advice in a variety of matters, such as employment and leasing. I will also help business in their winding down and termination, and have litigated disputes between partners and/or shareholders. .

I heartily endorse this lawyer. Charles "Rick" Perry and I worked together for many years at a San Francisco firm and have partnered together on cases since we have both been sole practitioners. He is an extremely good and talented lawyer. He excels in analyzing and evaluating cases and case strategy; legal research and analysis; and legal writing of all kinds. He always keeps his clients' goals front and center and develops strategies to meet them. He is also delightful to work with. One could not hope to find a better lawyer.
