John was beyond professional and the outcome exceeded my expectations. Made an expensive annoyance a reasonable afterthought. He and his office took care of everything! Highly recommend!

We had a very bizarre case where the legal system over-stepped their bounds. John was excellent at navigating the legal system to a fair resolution, kept us well informed, told us our options along the way and helped us decide the best way to proceed. John went out of his way at times to make sure all the paperwork was filed and the case was dismissed with full record. He wasted no time, was very pragmatic and dealt with the issue and each of us expertly and professionally.

I contacted John Stanko after my husband, a truck driver was found guilty by written declaration through representation of a different firm. I soon realized John should have been my first choice. John was professional, informative, and assuring. In mid-January Mr. Stanko represented and negotiated on my husband's behalf and was able to have the violation reduced to a no pointer. Would I obtain his services again? Absolutely! Let's just hope and pray it's not needed! If you're looking for an attorney, make the right choice...choose John Stanko!

I am 2 for 2 with John Stanko. Two dismissals -- no fines, no points. The first case, Failure to Yield, went to trial, where John did a great job cross examining the CHP officer. So well that the judge dismissed the case before he was even finished with our defense.
In the second case, the San Francisco officer did not show up for my stop sign violation. This doesn’t necessarily mean I would have won it on my own, as John has more power to negotiate a hearing date than I would have.
One thing to point out is that John handles all the administrative details, which can be a nightmare in a jurisdiction like San Francisco. All you have to do is send him a photo of your ticket and he does the rest.
Thank you John. I recommend you to others without qualification.

John has successfully handled two cases for me . The first case was last year when I mistakenly made a turn in to a one way street, not being familiar with San Fran. The cop was the rudest most obnoxious man and he literally had me crying in the car with his yelling and screaming at me. When I found john and called him, he spent a good 20 minutes with me and answers all my questions. I explained that I didn't want the points on my record and hired john to go to court. I explained that the intersection had many signs and very confusing and sent him some photos.
What a stress free experience! I don't know about you all but bypassing stress of going to court and losing two whole day of work is definitely worth the fees to me ! Not only was it stress free for me, I paid nothing other than the money I gave john!, John litigated the case and he won!
The second case was a speeding ticket in yolo county going 98 in a 65. Expensive ticket and not eligible for traffic school! So I hired John again to at least get the court to allow traffic school. John, went to court on two separate days and the cop was no show! My case was dismissed!
In both cases, No ticket fees, no court attendance, no loss of work, no attending traffic school, no days taken off work! I don't know how he does it but he gets results! John is polite , cordial, always responded to my multiple email and phone calls, truly professional and trustworthy! Well worth every penny considering that most points raise insurance by 3k over the three year they stay on your record! I highly recommend this attorney!
A public thank you to john for saving me time, money and excess stress! Kudos to you for doing what you do so well!

I got a speeding ticket in Marin County that I didn't want to have on my record, and John got the job done for me. He kept a point from going on my record, so I'm really pleased. It didnt take much work on my part, as we went to court for me. He is a straight shooter and a pro, and I recommend him if you need representation in any traffic-related matter.

Mr. John Stanko made my horrible experience tolerable. I was facing a long time in jail and Mr. Stanko was able to get the DA to drop a major mistake made one night. He has kept me informed every step of the way. Not making me feel like a criminal. We never went to trial, thank God. That saved me a lot of money. 4th DUI/Assault. DA dropped the assault. He also fought for my license and it will no longer by revoked for 4 years. (that's a long time without driving). Yikes. Thank you Mr. Stanko for helping me get through this mess and come out the other side smiling!!!

I found John on Yelp and through internet searches to represent me for a speeding ticket. He suggested Trial By Written Declaration first and luckily it worked. The cops didn't respond meaning the ticket got dismissed. Anyway, we did this all by email and phone. I personally like to meet everyone, but this worked! He's a go getter and saved me a lot of headache, time and money! Thanks again John!

I engaged Mr. Stanko to represent me when I got a ticket for 96 mph in a 65 mph zone. He appeared in court for me, negotiated with the CHP officer and the judge, and we received a highly favorable outcome. John is personable, attentive, and communicative, and seems to know everyone at the Marin Traffic Court. He did a great job for me. I recommend him at the highest level to anyone seeking an excellent traffic citation attorney.

Having received a citation for an alleged red light violation captured by San Francisco's automated camera red-light system, I initially thought about fighting it myself and in then realizing the complexity of the issues involved, I contacted John Stanko. Amazingly, John himself answered the phone on the first ring and immediately took the time to discuss my case, explain the law and offer some advice and options. Upon retaining John formally, he promptly reviewed all of my materials, communicated with me, and kept me in the loop as we proceeded toward trial. Then at a certain point, John called me to mention that a respected colleague of his was very involved in the defense of this type of violation and he felt that it might be more beneficial to me to have his colleague handle the case. He graciously put me in touch with her and she succeeded in having my citation dismissed. In conclusion, I consider John to be experienced, professional and generous. I have no doubt that he too would have done a great job had he ultimately represented me.
