He is an expert on the defense of DUI/DMV matters where the client/defendant is not able to give an accurate alcohol test reading because of acid reflux or GERD related problems. I have attended lectures that he has given on this subject and have referred several cases to him that he successfully defended where the client/defendant was wrongly accused of having .08 or more blood alcohol level and where the GERD condition caused a "false high" reading and where subsequent studies show that the blood alcohol level of the defendant with a blood draw was much lower than the breath test.
