    John’s Answer

If you are paying your girlfriend rent, I really do not believe her income would have anything to do with your support obligations. On the form, just indicate that she does not contribute to your living expenses, but rather you pay her rent. If you do not know her income, you could simply state unknown.

  • Child support issues is it legal for a judge to make a judgement when the case belongs to a different county ?

I reside in California and he moved to Nevada 2 years ago and the case was tried with his old addres which he never up dated

    John’s Answer

The real issue is where the children live and how long they have lived there. If the children have established residency in a different county or state, then it is possible to change the venue to the new county or state. If no one does anything then the jurisdiction remains in the original county where the action was filed and litigated.

    John’s Answer
