Dan provided a much-needed sense of calmness from start to finish. He constantly kept things in perspective and helped convey the "bigger picture", even when all I could focus on were my immediate fears. He was always available to answer my questions, even though they were probably very irrelevant to the case. His answers were always in-depth and I never walked away with doubts remaining. His knowledge of the law seemed to be without any flaw. His professional relationships with the courts and court officials proved invaluable. His impeccable ethics made myself and my family trust him completely. Even more impressive, it would seem that even the judge and opposing DA were aware of and respected his ethic. I may not have any other experiences to compare Dan to, but I cannot imagine a better criminal defense attorney. I would highly recommend Dan Barton to anyone in need of a criminal defense attorney.
