I have never needed to contact a layer before nor been in the court system, however in March 2010, the inevitable occurred and I contacted my first Criminal Defense Lawyer, luckily it was Shawn Shahid Salehieh. I have to say, there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how grateful I was to have meet Shawn during these stressful times. From the first day, he kept me calm by taking the time to explain the court process and the specifics to my case in laymen terms. My parents were very involved from the beginning and Shawn answered all their questions. Being a critical care registered nurse, I know how important it is to advocate for my patience’s and Shawn displayed those characteristics.
