About Me

Paul Ham began his legal career through the highly competitive United States Attorney General’s Honors Program, serving as a Trial Attorney for the Tax Division.  As a Department of Justice attorney, Mr. Ham was the lead counsel in over 100 tax cases in various states.  Mr. Ham worked closely with IRS employees, including Revenue Agents, Revenue Officers, and Office of Chief Attorneys.  Mr. Ham’s tax practice encompassed a wide spectrum of tax issues.  For his efforts, Mr. Ham was awarded the Department of Justice, Tax Division, Outstanding Attorney Award in 2006.

After leaving Government service, Mr. Ham accepted a position with Baker & McKenzie, one of the largest law firms in the world that is widely recognized as having the world’s premier tax law practice.  While there, Mr. Ham represented large, publicly traded companies and individuals facing tax disputes with the IRS.
