BRAUNHAGEY LLP serves as in-house general counsel to businesses and private equity funds facing complex litigation, regulatory events and legal compliance issues. Our team is led by Noah Hagey and Matt Borden, former trial counsel at top international law firms in New York and San Francisco, respectively.
In the past year, we have managed the successful resolution of over $600 million in litigation and regulatory liability. We also have advised on litigation risk and strategy for private equity acquisition events, and conducted internal investigations to address and resolve potential business risk.
In addition to our general counsel services, we also are engaged by companies to implement internal legal compliance and control systems. Our attorneys have designed internal control systems for multinational companies to comply with U.S. and foreign law, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation, U.S. Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulation, and the U.S. Patriot Act.
