Family law is a hard business, especially when there are children involved. My co-parent used a rather aggressive attorney and every time they did something nasty, my first reaction was to get nasty back. And that is not a good place to be in with the parent of your child, and Sarah was able to remind me of that. She pushed for collaboration, mediation, encouraged us to settle and not go to court, and continued to remind me to think about the big picture for our child. Sadly we did end up going to court and I could not have had better representation. Sarah knows the San Francisco family court system WELL. She was amazing in front of the judge. She was eloquent, succinct and on point throughout the hearing. I was impressed. Throughout the almost six month process of working with her, I found her to be responsive, intuitive, supportive, realistic, well networked (which was also really helpful), full of integrity and highly ethical. Very highly recommended.
