About me

Myron Moskovitz, a California Civil Appeals Attorney, instructs CLE courses in California (Continuing Legal Education) aimed to teach students and lawyers how to write convincing briefs by communicating methods of successful appeals in a dynamic way.

As a Professor of law for nearly 40 years, Moskovitz has made a name as one of the most influential appeal litigators among students and colleagues, alike.  Moskovitz is known to turn a classroom into a courtroom.  So, the experience is invaluable to those who wish to practice and be critiqued by one of the most respected appeal litigators in the industry.

Myron has made substantial contributions to the California community through his appeals.  In The People vs. Vaughn, Moskovitz obtained reversal for a criminal defendant who was not given a proper hearing; however, this is only one example of Moskovitz’s many successes.

While the average success rate for appellants is around 20%, Myron has an 80% success rate for appellants in published cases. CLE courses taught by Moskovitz focus on the art of winning appeals and share his experience writing appellate and writ briefs.  Moskovitz holds his CLE courses in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego, Santa Ana, Walnut Creek, and Sacramento.

Myron is an excellent appellate lawyer, and in general, a litigator nonpareil. I have worked with Myron since 1995, and recommend him without reserve.
