We received better than satisfactory service from this Attorney

Several years ago, in 2003, we found ourselves in the unfortunate position of needing the aid of an attorney. Our case was accepted by Mr. Pisano. Within 6 months time, he did the following:
* Explained the mechanics and details of the incident and how the case should proceed in court.
* Explained how compensation would break down if we were awarded a winning case.
* Coordinated with other entities involved in case
* Provided us with copies of documentation to keep us abreast of case progress.
* Won the case.
* Was fair in fee charges
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to be assisted by this attorney, Mr. Pisano.
I was not happy with the performance of Steven Pisano

Steven Pisano was my attorney between April and August 2010. In July 2010 I started to realize that Steven Pisano was not handling my matter as I had intended, and I in September 2010 I switched to new attorney with whom I am very happy.
Steven Pisano retained an attorney to ask me to remove my posting. I know very little about the US judicial system, so I do not know what are possible consequences of posting details about my case. In order to avoid any possible legal implications, I removed all the details, but I feel that I have to stand for what I believe in and voice my opinion.
Thankfully in the United States we have a first amendment right to voice our opinions and our experiences.
Steven Pisano’s response:“Bernard incorrectly categorizes the legal matter as "Debt Agreements". His matter concerned a financial dispute between himself and his then girlfriend. She factually and vigorously disputed his claim, and retained legal counsel to defend in the matter. Civil litigation is very costly to undertake, and Bernard became upset when billed for the litigation costs and related attorney fees in accordance with the retainer agreement. Bernard refused to pay his bill, and eventually this fee-collection matter proceeded to San Mateo County Bar Association's Fee Arbitration. The Arbitrator's decision confirmed the reasonableness of my services, and his Award was in my favor. Eventually, Bernard complied with the
Fee Arbitration Award.
I hereby request that AVVO retract Bernard's improper comment.”
