I specialize in employment litigation, with an emphasis on discrimination (including disability, race, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, and religious discrimination), sexual harassment, and retaliation claims under California and Federal law. I also represent clients with claims arising from overtime and minimum wage disputes at work, fraud, defamation/slander, commercial and personal contracts, and assault and battery.
I advise clients who have been placed on Performance Improvement Plans at work or who need assistance negotiating severance packages. I prepare, review and advise on employment contracts.
I have represented clients in California state courts and Federal courts and have appeared pro hac vice in Nevada and Virgina Federal courts. I have appeared before administrative agencies including the California Labor Commissioner/Division of Labor Standards Enforcement; California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board; San Francisco Rent Board; and the Contractor's State License Board.
