Rolf Kruger is certified by the State Bar of California as a legal specialist in the area of family law and is a named partner of the firm.

Further, Mr. Kruger was named for the past 6 years in a row a SuperLawyer™ for Northern California which is a distinction reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in California. In 2014, he was ranked by Reuters in the TOP 100 of all attorneys in California over all practice areas. He was appointed by the Board of Governors for the California State Bar as a Commissioner for the Family Law Advisory Commission (FLAC) in 2010. In 2012, he became vice chair of FLAC and in 2013, he became the chair. He remains as chair of the board in 2014. Further, in 2014, while a member of FLAC, he was also become a member of CBLS (California Board for Legal Specialization) for the California State Bar.
An attorney and professional mediator in complex financial and custody matters, Mr. Kruger has specialized in high-asset cases, representing venture capitalists, business owners, CEOs and other executives of domestic and international companies, along with their respective spouses. Mr. Kruger’s proactive approach is to seek solutions that add value not only to the client but also to the community estate and the client’s business interests long term.
A member of the State Bar of California, Mr. Kruger also belongs to the Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, and Palo Alto Bar Associations and serves regularly as a judge pro tem for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. He also serves on the Santa Clara County Family Law Section Legislative Committee.
Mr. Kruger graduated from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in 1994, earning High Honors in multiple courses. While attending law school, he also earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the university's Center for Dispute Resolution at the College of Law, rated among the top five programs of its kind in the country by U.S. News and World Report.
Mr. Kruger received his Bachelor of Science in finance in commerce from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. While attending SCU, he was recognized by the international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.
He was president of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity during law school and chaired the Theta Chi Fraternity Alumni Committee at Santa Clara University. His interests include cooking with his family, boating, water skiing, snow skiing/boarding, scuba diving, and traveling.
