If you have come across my listing on Avvo because you are looking to retain an immigration lawyer, please just call my office to speak with me. We will briefly discuss why you are calling, and then we can see if it would be worthwhile for us to meet and discuss your matter further. This will provide you MUCH more information, than viewing this AVVO profile.
AVVO is a website that scrapes the internet for publicly available data about lawyers, and then compiles profiles without any input from the lawyers, unless they sign up. AVVO routinely uses incorrect information about lawyers that it finds online, and has a total lack of consistency with its ratings. I have been practicing immigration law exclusively since 2001, yet lawyers with far less experience have much higher "experience" rankings. Furthermore, if I asked clients to write reviews on AVVO, or spent my time answering anonymous legal questions submitted to AVVO, my score would increase. While I appreciate referrals from satisfied clients, I do not ask clients to write reviews online.
So just call the number above, and we'll talk.
