About Me

I am admitted to practice law in all courts of the State of California and the District Court for the Northern District of California. I am a member of the San Mateo County Bar Association. I am a native of Belmont, California, and look forward to serving clients throughout the state of California.  I aim to serve my clients without the pretense and ego exhibited by many other lawyers. I pride myself on being personable, competent, accountable and reasonable.

I graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, where I earned my J.D. degree in 2007.  I was awarded the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Civil Procedure I (model essay answer), Property I, Appellate Advocacy (model brief) and Evidence (model essay answer). I was also a published writer and associate editor for the Golden Gate University Law Review.

During law school I served as an extern to the Honorable Martin J. Jenkins in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. I also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Myron Moskovitz and as Teaching Assistant to Professor Rachel Van Cleave for Property II.

I returned to Golden Gate University School of Law to earn an LL.M degree in Taxation.  I completed the degree in 2012.

I completed my undergraduate degree at UCLA in 2003, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

I speak conversational Persian (Farsi) and conversational Spanish. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer and performing on the electric bass.
