Hired this attorney to represent my husband. Did not do anything for him, and kept convincing him to just plead guilty, even though there was insufficient evidence. When my husband asked for his discovery, the attorney got mad and threatened to resign.
I would like to express my gratitude for your assistance in dealing with an unfair traffic citation. Your prompt and accurate support was exemplary and very appreciated.
My husband was a victim of mistaken identity and was up against 8 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Attorney Marten's successfully had the case dismissed. He is an extremely resourceful and respectable attorney. He is always available for discussion and his staff is quick to relay messages. Anytime I left a message for with the staff, he was able to return my call that same day and I was never given the run around. His fees were very reasonable and his staff worked with me to create a payment plan that suited my finances. I hope we never have to experience a nightmare like this again; but, should we face another legal matter, we will be choosing Attorney Martin in our defense.
What can we say? Or lives were turned upside-down by a very unfortunate time. Once we hired Mr Martin's all the worry seemed to easy. His confidence and knowledge of our particular situation just made it easier to cope. Excellent Attorney one we would recommend 100%!!!
Had a positive outcome after hiring Christopher. He was able to work magic and had a sophisticated and positive demeanor. Would hire again.

I would refer Christopher Martens to anyone. I was scared and confused about what was happening. He explained it every step of the way. He was able to get my charges reduced and with minor consequences. I am pleased I chose him to represent me and I would refer him to others in need of a lawyer.

The first time in my life I've ever had to deal with the "justice system", I can guarantee its not what most of us think, its quite disheartening. The belief that you are presumed innocent until proven guilty is a falsehood, nor does the prosecution care about you, your family or the particular circumstance. Please believe me, they have a cut-and-dry agenda and it does not contain any consideration for you personally. I'm writing this not as a simple recommendation but to help another like myself that was scared and not sure what to do or who to call, my only hope is it will save someone else the heartache and worry I went through. There are so many attorneys out there and after being counselled by a few, even speaking with those recommended by friends I felt hopeless, they all seem to be similar to used car salesmen, take your money, make a deal regardless and move on, after searching I was blessed to find Chris, I am by no means wealthy, however you still pay for what you get, a bargain isnt really something you want to look for as it pertains to your freedom or livliehood. From the very first consultation, I felt immensely better about my chances, he is very knowledgable and he knows exactly how the system works, he WILL get you through it. Trust me, once you have been seated in a courtroom and watch other laywers and then the contrast of Mr. Marten you will understand the difference. His presence, demeanor and professionalism is quite evident and I cannot begin to tell you how proud that he was representing me. My case lasted almost a year, not once did he waiver or try to convince me to plead, on the contrary, the DA had come back with many offers, each one better than the last, they try to wear you down and you at times just want to cave so it will be over, Chris never accepted that, he was willing to take it to trial from the moment he first accepted my case! I wish I had read this post from someone else when I was looking, I was very fortunate to have found him, I'll never be able to convey my gratitude to him for what he's done for my children and I. God Bless

Mistakes are made, careless actions take place everyday. This doesn't mean your a bad person.
I'm a hard working man with two jobs trying to get out of debt and live a better life. After a long stressful draining 16hr day I had a vodka cocktail right after work. I lived very close and me being a bigger guy I thought one drink was ok. My coworker had asked me for a ride... long story short I was arrested for DUI.
I hired Christopher Martens as my attorney. He made me feel comfortable. There was not one ounce of judgement in his eyes. I felt he saw the good person in me when I was disappointed and couldn't see it in myself. He was confident that I could reduce my DUI to a wet and reckless and he did just so.
After settling my case, I feel like I have a second chance. This time not taking these situation so lightly and carefree.
Thank you Christopher Martens.

Christopher was very informative, knew a lot about the law and how to avoid losing my license. He helped me to get a minimum sentence for my DUI and not lose my license. He was very supportive and understood all my concerns. He addressed all my questions and was flexible with his payment. He also has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good, reasonably priced and conscience lawyer.
