Katherine has been gaining experience with clients on their estate plans, conservatorships, trust administrations and probate proceedings for more than four years as a paralegal. She also worked on incorporating small businesses and has kept them going. In 2011, Katherine passed the California State Bar Examination on her first attempt, and was admitted to practice law in the State of California.
Katherine is continuing her work with Ventura County families and individuals in planning their estate and administering trusts and probate proceedings. She also works frequently with families on conservatorships for their loved ones - these are court proceedings to protect someone with special needs or dementia.
Katherine is currently also working with clients in need of assistance with animal welfare issues. Katherine loves animals and believes that they should have more of a voice in the law, which is shown in her cases prosecuting animal abuse and neglect. Katherine founded the Animal Law Section of the Ventura County Bar Association, and is a strong voice for the animal law movement and animal welfare issues in Ventura County and Southern California.
