I was born and raised in the State of Washington, and later moved to Southern California, where I attended law school on a full scholarship.
During law school, I earned the Witkin Award for Excellence in Advocacy for my skills in written and oral argument and I was on the Honor Roll. In addition to graduating in the top 10 percent of my class, I tutored other law students, helping them achieve success.
Before graduating, I interned with the Orange County District Attorney's Office. The DA's office which assigned me to the Felony Panel where I assisted the attorneys assigned to serious crimes.
While I was in law school, I also worked for Gould & Associates, a top-notch employment litigation firm, where I assisted the attorney with the handling of every aspect of wrongful termination and wage and hour cases, including class actions.
After graduation, I passed the California bar examination before accepting a job with the former Riverside County prosecutor who ultimately trained me to handle all aspects of criminal defense cases.
I opened my own offices in 2006 to focus on defending people accused of crime.
In addition to the practice of law, I have helped train other law school graduates to pass the California bar exam by lecturing on criminal procedure, evidence.
Outside of the practice of law, my personal interests include music, photography, cooking, and spending time with my dog.
