Davison v. Varela

Case Conclusion Date: 11.11.2009

Practice Area: Personal Injury

Outcome: Settlement

Description: Brianna, then only 12 years old, was a passenger in a vehicle struck by another. Both she and her brother were injured in the accident, as was her father who was driving. Brianna sustained facial lacerations that required 102 sutures. The case was not filed at or near the time of the accident, as the plaintiffs' mother beleived that the matter was pending with the insurance carrier. Brianna's mother then brought the case to us on the eve of the 2-year statute running. We were able to file the action in a timely manner, and ultimately obtain settlements for both Brianna and her brother.
