My daughter had finally turned the corner and now we found how much repair work she had in front of her. We hired two attorneys prior to retaining Lew and if I would have found him first there would have been no question- that he was our man. Lew was kind and listened and let us tell him what we were going up against. He was honest and did not over promise. He was so understanding and I told my family that he is our guardian angel. Hello everyone, Would like to start off this review by saying that anything is possible. Mr. Rosenblum has been a blessing to my family and I and continues to work magic even after the case is done. How many lawyers do you know that will keep that kind of contact with their clients, not many that I know of. I believe that is one of the many things that sets Mr. Rosenblum apart from other lawyers. I am very thankful for being able to expierence his work and knowledge of his teachings that he has shared with me. He has given my mom and I a different outlook on life and some helpful strategies that have brought us closer to one another. Mr. Rosenblum will not lead you on the wrong path or tell you what you want to hear, he is very honest and sticks by his word. I was recommended to Lew by another lawyer, and WOW, did they recommend an EXCELLENT lawyer! I cannot thank Lew Rosenblum enough for what he did for my son, his future, and our family. Last year, my high school, hearing impaired son was accused of a crime. My son had worked hard throughout his whole life to overcome several challenges, and his future looked bright, having received a 4 year ACADEMIC scholarship to attend college in the fall. The conviction of the charges brought against my son would have affected the bright future that lay ahead for him. In telling my son’s story to Lew upon that first meeting, he immediately put me at ease. Dedication is a term that comes to mind if I had to pick one quality that describes him. You feel like you are the only client he has, and that he is dedicating 200% to your case. Whenever we called, he returned our calls quickly. There were some things we just didn’t understand and he was always willing to talk with us and educate us concerning the case as well as the court system. Lawyer Lew has impeccable observation skills as well, as I found out from that first meeting with him and his reading of the material I brought him. I would also say that Lawyer Lew has great preparation skills. I feel he went over and beyond in preparing for my son’s trial. All of these qualities and skills came together on the day of the trial for a victorious outcome. It was about 8:30 AM that day, with the trial to actually start a little later. The lawyers were in the courtroom at their respective tables, with my son, of course, beside lawyer Lew. The lawyers were talking to the judge, and within the first 10 minutes of their discussions, the case was dismissed! Within the first 10 minutes! We will always, always be grateful to Lew Rosenblum.

The first time that I have called him , was on a Saturday morning the day after my incident . He was more worried about my well being as I was so panicked . I never thought of myself being in a position needing a Criminal defense attorney. In the meeting that we had, he explained the process and what realistically to expect. He mentioned it may takes up to 3-4 court appearance for him to take care of this . Following that meeting his main concern was trying to assist me understanding how I can help myself realizing the process that I got in to this problem and how I can get help to avoid situations like this in future.
He spent time generously with me & promptly replied to my text, email and phone calls. In my opinion ,his rate is very decent for what he does .
After the first court he called me and gave me the good news that in that one single court appearance he was able to convince the DA and the result of that is the case will be dismissed! All I needed to do was going to court with him once to give a DNA sample and taking a 6 hours class . When I went to court with him to my surprise the judge asked me if I know that I have hired one of the most dedicated , well experienced and knowledgeable criminal defense attorney in California and he was Assistant District Attorney for Orange County for many years . He added that Mr. Rosenblum been awarded as California Prosecutor of the Year in the past . I replied yes and getting to know him was the best that I could achieve out of this incident. I am so happy knowing him and cherishing his friendship.

Lew was wonderful! This was my first time needing any type of legal counsel. Lew was aware of this and was trustworthy and fair from the start. I'm so glad I decided to retain him as I was at a complete loss and ignorant of how the legal system works. I endorse Lewis Rosenblum. Choosing Mr. Rosenblum was the best choice I could have made after my incident. Upon first impression he showed great expertise in the subject matter. I had contacted several attorneys through a basic google search to try and find the right person to help with a misdemeanor citation I received while riding a Metrolink train. With an arraignment hearing on the horizon, and because the circumstances surrounding my citation were based upon a misunderstanding, I did not want to mess around with trying to handle the matter on my own and risk the possibility of a first conviction and lasting criminal record.

Lew Rosenblum listened patiently over the phone as I explained my situation, never making me feel rushed or limited on time. I could immediately tell by the questions he asked and the way that he explained the possible approaches to handling my case, that he was very experienced and knew the best way to obtain the most favorable outcome for me. I learned later from perusing Lew's website that he is former longstanding deputy District Attorney in Orange County, which made me even more confident to entrust my case to him, as I recognized the importance of a defense attorney who also understood 'the other side' and how the prosecution thinks. Additionally, Lew's rooted contacts and relationships with judges and district attorneys in Orange County was a very important consideration; I actually work for an excellent law firm in downtown Los Angeles and had the gracious offer to receive complimentary counsel from the lawyers in my firm, but turned the offer down because I wanted a well-positioned local attorney who knew the key players.

Lew handled my case with the utmost professionalism, sympathy, and care from beginning to end, and was very prompt with emails, returning phone calls and staying in touch; I never had to wonder "what is happening with my case?" because he would communicate with me regularly throughout the process. A few days before my arraignment, Lew was kind enough to have a long conference call with my fiance and me to help quell our concerns and thoroughly answer all of our questions (again).

The BEST part about the representation I received from Lew came in the form of the swift and perfect resolution to my case. The possible outcomes of my citation ranged from a misdemeanor conviction and $250 fine to a reduced charge of an infraction, and possibly a smaller fine, community service, an 8-hour "anti-theft" class, and/or a DNA sample, all of which were very troubling to me, but my main objective was to avoid any sort of a record. Lew explained that the outcome I was looking for would likely take 2-3 appearances and possibly a trial, and I was prepared for the long-haul. To my very pleasant surprise, I received contact from Lew on the day of my arraignment informing me that he was able to explain my situation to the judge who sympathized with my predicament, and ordered that I merely pay a $25 "correction fee," following which the charges would be dismissed. Although the judge gave me 30 days to pay the $25 fee, Lew went ahead and made the payment that same day at the cashier's office so that my case could be dismissed then and there. It could not have turned out any better!

Lastly, Lew's rates were very reasonable, especially considering the breadth of his experience, position within the Orange County legal circuit, and the number of times he was anticipating making appearances on my case, to say nothing of his generous availability to communicate with me. I just could not have received better counsel. Period.

Since I live in the San Francisco Bay area I had no idea who to contact for this situation I was dealing with in Orange County. I was referred to Mr. Rosenblum by the OC Bar Assn. I will call him Lew as in his emails to me. By using just his first name or nickname,"lew", made me feel comfortable and at ease. After speaking directly to Mr. Rosenblum and he asking pertinent questions of the incident and personal questions of me; my past life, occupations, age, ciminal records, etc., Lew decided to represent me. I agreed.
The incident involved Transprtation Security Administration and the local county Deputy Sheriff at a local airport. During the incident, I was treated with dignity, respect and with professionalism. I complied and cooperated fully as I could with both agencies of questions to me, being asked. I was released by the TSA and was also released by the Deputy Sheriff. The TSA just gave me a warning.The Deputy however, issued me a Misdameanor Citation citing a Calif Penal Code, rather than just issuing me an infraction or a warning, as did the TSA. I was unaware of this certain Calif Penal Code section. I also should have been more thoughtful and vigilant about the contents of my belongings. I could have been arrested had things been different. I was not arrested. The citation had a court date to appear.
I sent a copy of the citation to Lew and he told me just to wait and see what happens. My citation was a non violent one so this would take some time to be reviewed.
Lew appeared alone for me on the court date as stated in the citation and there was no paperwork filed yet by the DA's office.
The DA decided to file charges and I received a letter from the DA's office about 3 months later.
Lew wanted to move the court appearance up sooner. I felt he could talk to people in the DA's office and negotiate a deal. He had an plan that would involve me, taking a class directed by the DA and upon completion, all charges would be dropped.
Earlier than the original court date on the DA's letter, which Lew was able to have re-scheduled, Lew appeared alone, again, in court for me, as my represenative and was able to speak to one of the DA's and told him of my military service record(over 30yrs.), my age and what type of life I lead. He just asked for all charges to be dropped. Period.
The DA agreed and all charges were dropped entirely!!
Lew is a former Marine and will go to bat and out of his way to help Veterans in their time of legal need.
I felt if I just got a public Defender, I would be just a number with all the rest of the people you see on the reality "Cop" shows. I am not one of those people.

While going through a very messy divorce with a restraining order filled against me. I made a bad mistake of innocently emailing my daughter in which I unknowingly violated the r/o. He allowed me to be honest with him and with myself so that I could get the help I needed for my alcohol/drug use without being punished and sentenced to 90 days in jail. I will never be able to thank Lew enough for everything he did for my case and for me personally. I am the mother of a son who was charged with a crime that would send him to prison for life. After months of suffering a public defender's representation we were referred to Mr Rosenblum.
