About Me

Ronald G. Brower, Attorney at Law, has been specializing exclusively in criminal law since he opened his legal practice in Orange County, California, in 1974. He is a 1970 graduate of the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, who then spent four years as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange and San Luis Obispo Counties.

During a career marked with high-profile successes, Ron has handled several thousand criminal cases and tried approximately 300 jury trials, including a large number of homicide cases. As testimony to the quality of his preparation and conduct of complex cases, Ron’s clients have included Orange County judges, politicians, private attorneys, public defenders, deputy district attorneys, and law enforcement officers. It was Ron, for example, who represented the entire Orange County District Attorney’s offce in the “Narcotic Slush Fund Case” against the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

Ron has testified in court as an expert in criminal law and procedure for both the prosecution and defense and produced a training film on psychiatric testimony. He is a featured speaker at legal seminars, colleges and universities, and law schools. In addition, he has sat as Judge Pro Tem in Orange County Municipal and Superior Courts.

Ron is a member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association, the California Trial Lawyers Association, and the Society for Specialized Criminal Advocates. He has been admitted to the California State Courts Bar (Bar #047518), the Federal Bar, the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Claims, and the United States Supreme Court.

A native of Long Beach, California, Ron is married and has three sons.
