As the saying goes--so goes Mr. McCann. I was up against the legal system (once again) and this time it looked dire. It was my 2nd charge of driving under the influence and it wasn't looking good. I know people who will peruse this review and shake their heads at the plausibility of someone not only getting one driving under the influence but a second one will be less than agreeable but it happened. The one thing that helped me in facing an additional charge is this: AVVO and it recommendation of Christopher J. McCann. From the frantic search for legal representation to the day he called and gave me supremely good news, Mr. McCann was professional, courteous, understanding and a stalwart advocate. He was approachable and spoke to me in a manner that was not domineering or wishy-washy. He was straight to the point and even spoke on how 'special' my case was. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck. I felt that there were some things about the charge that wasn't sitting well but I, overall, felt that I will get the book thrown at me. The moment that I chose Mr. McCann as my lawyer started the process of smoothing it all out.

One of the most important things I believe that made him an excellent choice was his approachability. He answered all my calls and emails with a level of professionalism that seems to be lacking in today's world. I mean, he even took my initial inquiry on a Sunday morning and talked to me for a little over an hour. He was, in all honesty, the only lawyer that spoke to me that Sunday and spoke at length. He asked for the details and offered his legal opinion. I knew after the phone consultation that I would hire him. The first actual contact--the meeting at his satellite office only sealed the deal but conveyed to me that I made the right choice.

Christopher J. McCann went to work immediately and through his relentless effort received and ensured that I would have a valiant advocate. There were questionable tactics used by the arresting officer and from the get-go it was his point of attack that seemed to reflect this. It was as if Mr. McCann had been practicing law for 50 years and not the 12 years it says in his profile. I wavered in my own personal belief that Chris and I would receive a favorable outcome, so any positive outcome would be welcomed over the complete penalties I was facing.

Through it all, he was comforting and explained what he felt the DMV and the court would probably do and I do believe that helped to alleviate all of my concerns and to allow him to do his best work. He did more than I thought he was going to be able to do and the results were better than I had anticipated. We did not obtain a complete victory but the outcome was much better than I had ever hoped them to be. Thank you, Christopher J. McCann!

With some serious legal issues hanging over my head I wanted to be sure that first, the “small stuff” was taken care of. Chris was extremely helpful, considerate and professional. Mr.McCann exceeded my expectations. He handled my son's modified car case with enthusiasm and legal facts. On September, 9th 2010 I was arrested and charged with a felony for receiving stolen property witch happened to be a gun. I stumbled upon Mr. McCann while online on Avvo.com after calling other lawyers who had sent me letters in the mail none of witch seemed at all truly concerned about me or my case. When I first called Mr. McCann he was vary helpful and reassuring he even scheduled a free consultation with me the next day one day before my first court date. Upon arriving at Mr. McCann’s office I was immediately seen at the time we had disused on the phone. After explaining my case to him he assured me that he would do everything in his power to reach the outcome I desired it was not at all like talking to the other lawyers that I had called prier to Mr. McCann he was very knowledgeable and helpful, it was like he really cared about me an the outcome of my case. Mr. McCann immediately called the district attorneys office while in the consultation to see if any altercations had been made in my case, upon calling the district attorneys office we were notified that my case had been rejected due to lack of evidence. After we found out that my case was rejected we talked for about 30 more minutes he told me exactly what to do at court the next day to assure that the charges were rejected an there wouldn’t be any mix ups, he even gave me some free legal advice, keep in mind this was all in a free consultation. In closing I would just like to say that this guy is grate knowledgeable, helpful and caring its like he’s really on your side. I didn’t have to proceed with my case but if I did Mr. McCann was the man for the job. I highly recommend Mr. McCann to any one that’s in any kind of legal trouble.

Chris kept me extremely infomed as to the status of my case and was truly involved; his level of interest was extremely high. I was very impressed in how he replied and how on top of things he was. I would recommend him at any time I could.

Chris was great . He got me all the paperwork I neededpertainig to my criminal record so I could submit it to the board of Nursing and as a result I was able to ger my license. I would not have been able to do this on my own do to the fact I live in another state and it was so long ago. H e also made sure my expungments were entered in the computer properly.He was very easy to get ahold of and always my calls in a timely manner and he was also very easy to talk to and took the time to explain everything tome which I really appreciated. Let me start by saying, "Chris fought for me." We went to court a dozen times and each time the D.A. wanted me to give me an unfair and ridiculous sentence. However, Chris would not accept their deals. Nor would he, "Give-In," to their pressure. Each time we went to court Chris worked diligently to get me the best deal possible. After about eight months of going to court we were finally were able to reach a fair compromise. Today, my case has been dismissed and my record is clean. The end result is solely due to his slick and clever law skills. On a more personnel note, going to court was a huge ordeal, and at times, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. With Christopher McCann at my side I knew I would have the best possible chance. I highly recommend Chris to anyone with criminal matters.

I would definitely recommend Mr. McCann for any legal issues you may encounter. His level of personalized service was beyond my expectation, and I am happy to say that we won the case! Without Mr. McCann's help I am sure that I would have received at least three points against my license, which would have cost me allot more in the long run for increased insurance premiums etc. Chris made the extra effort to stay in contact with me on the phone throughout the entire proceeding, and had plenty of creative options for fighting the traffic tickets I received, although none of that was necessary because the officer didn't show up so the case was dismissed.
