You can bring a civil action against them for the harms they caused you. However, it's important to determine what kind of injuries you sustained from the bouncer. Did you have to receive medical treatment for your injuries? Are you still in pain? The bar owner is certainly responsible if one of his or her employees were negligent in the course of their work and you suffered harm, but the specific facts are necessary to determine whether that liability exists. Feel free to contact me for...

Don't hesitate any longer, get yourself representation from a personal injury attorney like myself or the several others that have commented here on this thread. You mention that the collision was the "catalyst" for the injury, but nevertheless, injuries develop over time and if your only pre-existing condition was a strained neck before, this looks like it was much more than just a kickstart to something prior. Don't let them convince you that you don't deserve to be compensated. Have you...

This sounds awful, I'm sorry that your son had to endure these injuries. There could be some negligence on the part of the treatment center in caring for your son, especially considering the contradictory opinions of the psychologist and the supervisors at the center. However, I can't say for sure without taking a long detailed look at the facts. I wouldn't recommend talking to their lawyer on your own. Contact me to discuss your case further, my firm offers free consultations and case evaluations.

Is $1200 to low? Most definitely. No insurance company is going to settle a case for FULL VALUE if they the know it's not primed for the courtroom. It's obvious that your damages are high considering what you've outlined about your miscarriage, the accident, your injuries, and the emotional trauma you've endured. You should get in contact with me or another qualified personal injury attorney on Avvo to consult with you about the case and handle everything in a professional manner. You've...

Whatever you do, don't try to evade the lawsuit. The ramifications will be severe, and will only cause you more problems. Did you have insurance at the time? If so, you should immediately contact your carrier and report the incident. It's their job to shield you from liability, that's what you are paying them for. If you don't have insurance, they other party may try and sue you. Service of process can be completed out of state and even out of country. Good Luck.

Yes. Your property damage and medical bills should be covered by the other driver's insurance, whether or not you had a valid license at the time of the crash. There may be some limits on compensation for your pain and suffering but an experienced attorney will be able to establish liability quickly, and hold the insurance company accountable. They are likely to try to use your lack of license against you.

If your car was stolen and there is no evidence suggesting that you were negligent (such as leaving the keys in the ignition), then it is unlikely that you will be liable for any damages. However, if you left your car unsecured and open to theft in a manner considered negligent or irresponsible, then you would be liable for the damages. Since you are an uninsured driver, in the latter instance you would have to pay out of pocket for the property damage to your vehicle as well as susceptible to...
