About me

As one of the leading insolvency attorneys in the Orange County and southern California legal community, William (Bill) Wall has a long history and proven record of success in achieving unique solutions for distressed entities and their stakeholders. With over a decade of experience in bankruptcy law, Mr. Wall previously practiced with a premier boutique bankruptcy law firm in Orange County and in the bankruptcy department one of the largest law firms servicing California.

Representing individuals and organizations in all phases of the insolvency process, including debtors, creditors, trustees, and assignees for the benefit of creditors, Mr. Wall’s familiarity and success with insolvency related litigation enables clients to obtain the optimal solution for their individual needs. Mr. Wall’s approach treats the client’s situation with sensitivity and respect, which results in the client’s confidence in a highly competent bankruptcy professional.

Past successful representations include defending, through trial and appeals, ten involuntary bankruptcy petitions filed against a residential real estate developer; objecting to a claim based on an alleged breach of purchase option on behalf of a real estate developer limited partnership; litigating lease rejection claims on behalf of landlords and tenants; and prosecuting and defending preference actions and fraudulent transfer actions in bankruptcy and state court.

Mr. Wall is a member the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), with which he held multiple leadership positions including former Chair and Program Chair of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section, past president of OCBA Young Lawyers Division, and former member of OCBA Board of Directors. Mr. Wall also participates on the board of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum where he focuses on planning Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses. Mr. Wall commits to handling several pro bono cases each year and serves on the Career Day Committee for the Orange County Constitutional Rights Foundation.

Mr. Wall has taught several CLE courses including “Bankruptcy Basics for the Riverside Barristers” and “The Preference Actions under CCP 1800 after Sherwood” for a joint meeting of the OCBA Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section and Orange County Bankruptcy Forum.
