    Professional & Honest

Professional and honest are two words that don't always go together when hiring an attorney, however Mr. Masson is an incredible attorney who came highly recommended. He's always shown the utmost professionalism in my child custody case, thus I too would too highly recommend him. You surely will not be disappointed should you choose to hire him in representing you in all family law matters.

    Most Upfront Honest Attorney

Richard has a foundational understanding of both the family law court system, and the business world. He understood not only why it was important to proceed on certain issues, but how to present the case to the judge. Mine was a tricky situation involving a highly manipulative ex-spouse. He seemed to understand what evidence was necessary and how to concisely present the information to the judge. Very smooth in court. Truly the most exceptional family law attorney in Orange County.

Absolutely the Best Family Law Attorney

I found Richard to be helpful, available and consistently honest with me throughout my divorce. Richard was upfront about what to expect during my initial consultation. He was right on about my child and spousal support, and helped me to decide when a settlement was not in my favor. He was savvy and knowledgeable when appearing before the judge -- but never backed down from my husband's attorneys. He was fantastic in court, and made the other side look like they were fumbling for answers. I highly reccommend Richard.

    Unprofessional, at best

The reason I gave Richard Masson such a poor rating is because he really dropped the ball. I just learned from my accountant that my ex-husband should have been responsible for continuing child support for my son who turned 18 but entered college this fall. Richard did not make that accommodation and set it up so my ex- only paid until my son turned 18. Secondly, he, nor his legal assistant, even took the time to call me to tell me the divorce had been finalized. They sent the paperwork in the mail without a phone call, text, or email. Very rude and unprofessional, in my opinion. Finally, the majority of documents that his assistant prepared had numerous typos, grammatical errors, and spelling errors, not what I would have expected from a professional.
