Justin Sanders is a Vice President at One3 IP Management and primarily oversees the High Tech and Software practice group. Justin graduated from California State University, Long Beach, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Human Resources Management. He went on to attend Whittier Law School, as a Fellow in the Center for Intellectual Property Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree with magna cum laude honors along with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law.
Justin was previously a partner at Mind Law Firm, P.C. (which effectively merged with One3 IP in 2014), where he assisted clients with all aspects of procuring, policing, enforcing, and exploiting their intellectual property, including: performing various types of patent- and trademark-related searches; preparing and prosecuting utility and design patent applications – both in the U.S. and abroad – covering a wide range of technologies; preparing and prosecuting federal and foreign trademark and trade dress applications; rendering patent and trademark infringement and validity/invalidity opinions; obtaining federal copyright registrations; implementing trade secret protection protocols; and negotiating and drafting a multitude of intellectual property and related business agreements. Justin continues to offer these various services to clients of One3 IP.
Justin has had the honor of being selected for inclusion in the Southern California Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers consecutively from 2013 to 2016 - a distinction only awarded to less than 2.5 percent of all attorneys in the state.
In addition to being a registered patent attorney with the USPTO, Justin is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Intellectual Property Law Association, and Tau Beta Pi.

Justin makes me look good when I refer clients to him. One of my clients told me today how pleased he was with Justin's thorough work, explaining that "it was clear Justin doesn't just read you the stock answer out of a law school book but knows his field [Intellectual Property] and can tell you how things really work, in understandable terms." Justin has been very responsive, thorough, and helpful when I seek his IP expertise for my business clients.
