I am very grateful for Mr. and Mrs. Combs. Mr. Combs was able to reduce my Extreme DUI charge to a Wet Reckless charge. I was facing jail time and huge fines. Mr. Combs was able to reduce my fines considerably and I did not have to go to jail. Throughout my case the DA requested several continuances, which led to my case being drawn out for some months. During this time, Mr. Combs and his Wife, Kim, kept me informed on every hearing, phone call, request and change regarding my case. I had so many questions and they were able to answer all of them promptly, whether it was by email, phone or face to face meeting. I would recommend Mr. Combs and his Wife to anyone seeking a lawyer. Kirby is the reason I am able to write this today. He has been a Godsend to me and my family. I have never seen a more dedicated lawyer, who has been so straight forward, honest, and just a great person. Kirby has been proactive on always keeping me informed and up to date on my case, he went above and beyond anything I could have imagined, even after my case had been resolved. The guidance and expert advice that was given to me was instrumental in my final stage of my case. I was charged with Felony Assault and Battery with a deadly weapon and causing great bodily injury. The prison time minimum was 2 years with a maximum of 7 years for the G.B.I. After many court dates and, Kirby's dedication to get to the truth, I was able to plea to a misdemeanor battery PC M242. that resulted into probation and the terms and conditions of it. Thanks to Kirby, my job and freedom will continue on.

The charges I was facing were as follows:

Inflict Corporal Injury/Spouse (Felony)
Assault of a person by means of force (Felony)
Abuse/Endanger Child (Misdemeanor)

After court yesterday I left convicted of misdemeanor false imprisonment.

I interviewed (3) Lawyers after my incident with Kirby being the last one I interviewed. The 1st lawyer was outrageously priced offering me a flat rate of $10,000 assuring me that this would go to trial and that I wouldn't find a better price. The 2nd lawyer actually cut the interview short saying that he promised his wife to have lunch with him that day. Then I called Kim and she took the time to talk with me and answered all of my questions and set an appointment with Kirby. After my interview with him there was no question that my search was over. The plan was laid out and the execution was flawless. At the arraignment, the DA tried to plus up my bail and give me a protection order from my family and the judge wouldn't have it. After my first hearing the DA gave me a deal of dropping (2) charges and giving me misdemeanor of the Inflict Corporal Injury/Spouse charge. While it was a good deal, I couldn't take it as it would forfeit my right to use firearms or deal with ammunition which is not an option for military servicemen. If I took the deal I would have been processed out of the military, for which I served the past 12 years with combat tours, immediately. At the next hearing the DA wouldn't budge and threatened to go to trial saying that he didn't care about my situation, service or potential financial burden on my family to come. The problem was the DA hadn't shared evidence with us he said he had so we got another hearing scheduled. It was apparent that the judge was getting a little annoyed stating the fact that this case was being dragged out but Kirby used the fact that we lacked the evidence to my advantage. My next and last hearing was yesterday and I left with 20 hrs of community service, 29 days house arrest and some DV classes. I will not receive any punishment as far as my military career goes, in fact it's almost as it didn't happen. My family and I are very grateful to Kim and Kirby for their hard work.

Words cannot express how important a trustworthy and dependable Attorney is when you are facing a crisis. Mr. Combs and his better half :) were not only exceptional but patient with all my questions and concerns. if you desire wisdom in your case and the ability to live at peace with the choices being made in your case, both he and his team will make it happen. I was absolutely lost in a fog of injustice when they helped me. they helped me get up to par immediately with the legal system and by following their advice i have managed to stay out of court. as a side note, they really work with you and they actually care about you and the work done. oh and incidentally, he actually attained everything we set out to accomplish, which is in and of itself a miracle (he had sanctions dropped, receiving parent pick up granted, increased child support, attorney fees and more!). this office, the team and attorney have favor with God. you will be greatly blessed by the work they do.

I used Mr. Combs for a DUI that I received in 2011 and he got it lowered to a wet and reckless. This year I used him again to get my probation ended early and he was successful. I recommend him to everyone who tells me they are in need of a lawyer. Very satisfied with him and his wonderful wife!

This is the second time my family hired Kirby Combs. The first time he got our son 268 days of house arrest when he was looking at 18 years in prison for vehicular manslaughter with multiple enhancements. The second time my brother-in-law was told by the public defender that he should take a 12 year prison sentence on his three strikes case to avoid a possible 24 year to life sentence if convicted. We hired Kirby to see if he could do better....and he did! My brother-in-law was released from custody with credit for time served and all priors and strikes were stricken.

I needed a lawyer to represent my children and I in a custody issue against my ex-husband. Let's just say the details of my case is outside the normal custody battles. I was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon after I found my ex husband, a police officer from Riverside, with another woman inside my house. Mr. Combs got my attempted murder charge dismissed at the preliminary hearing. He filed all kinds of motions and was then able to get me probation with credit for time served. All I had to do was pay my fine and D.V. classes for the remaining count. Mr Combs was always there for me when I had a question or my family through out all this difficult time of my life. Mr. and Mrs. Combs are two amazing, caring and generous people. I was very worried about my situation and could not eat or sleep without thinking about the consequences of my actions. The first time I met with Kirby he was very consoling and understanding and made every attempt to make me feel better. He kept reminding me that "you are your own worst enemy," meaning that it already happened, stop worrying about it, he will do the best he can to get the best possible outcome. Mr. Combs and Kim both did a great job getting me through my DUI. I was very depressed and frightened, as this was my fist DUI and yet Mr. Combs helped be feel comfortable throughout the whole ordeal. I called the Law Offices of Kirby Combs for a free consultation regarding criminal defense. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and were very knowledgeable. During my consultation, I spoke with Kim who was so honest that she didn't take my money and retain me when she easily could have. The smartest thing I ever did was use this website to find an attorney for my bitter divorce because I found Mr. Combs. The level of genuine compassion and concern for my situation by both Mr. Combs and Kim was matched by the level of effort and dedication they put into my case. I had such a high level of trust in Mr. Combs that I also hired him to represent me as I faced DUI charges. He got the DUI charges dismissed and my violation reduced. I had a DUI charge that was amazingly reduced to a basic speeding ticket instead. Kirby is a very fun and down to earth attorney. He was my first attorney and when we met he connected with me more like a friend than "just another client". I had a very unusual and complicated case, I was told by many other lawyers that I would not come close to the results that I wanted. Some lawyers wouldn't even interview with me because of the complexity of my case. Whenever I had a question big or small I always got answer the same day. Fortunately for me the judgement swayed in my favor and I know that I would never have gotten the judgement that I received had I not worked with him.
