William Shapiro has devoted over 36 years to representing the catastrophically injured and families of victims of wrongful death. Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Shapiro its highest AV-rating and has listed him for years in its Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in America. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the  International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers as well as ranked " Advocate" and serves as a national representative in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Mr. Shapiro was nominated "Consumer of the Year" by Consumer Attorneys of California.  In 2011 and 2012, he was nominated  "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by the Inland Chapter of Consumer Attorneys of  California and in 2013, he received the "Top Gun, Trial Lawyer of the Year" award from the Orange County Trial Lawyers Assocation as well as being nominated "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by CAL ABOTA. In 2014, Mr. Shapiro was named "Trial Lawyer of the Year," by the Consumer Attorneys of the Inland Empire. Mr. Shapiro was the 2013  recipiant of the prestigious John B. Surr Award for legal excellence by the San Bernardino County Bar Association and received the coveted Kearney/Nydam Award from the Legal Aid Society/SBCBA for 20 years of outstanding contribution tot he community.


 


Mr. Shapiro is an Adjunct Professor of Trial Practice as well as having taught Torts, Product Liability and Legal Ethics.
