My practice is limited to the areas of Business Law, Criminal/DUI Defense and Estate Planning because I enjoy helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve peace of mind by developing and implementing creative cost effective representation tailored for each client.
Why these particular areas? They all hit home. As the son of small-business owner parents, and a small-business owner myself, I know of many of the issues faced by small-businesses, first-hand. I am a Criminal/DUI Defense attorney, because I personally know the toll those matters take on the immediate family of someone accused of committing a criminal offense, as well as the person accused. I’ve been that family member, and know exactly how it affects the family unit, its unity, and what it takes to repair those relationships. With Estate Planning, I know the importance of proper design, drafting and execution of an estate plan because my family requires specialized consideration for the proper care of a sibling through a Special Needs Trust.
As part of the estate planning practice, I educate my clients and work to educate them on the importance of titling assets to ensure their estate planning portfolio works the way they intend. My goal is to make this process as accessible, efficient and streamlined as possible so that individuals are more motivated to develop and complete their plan, and families do not have to deal with the fallout from a lack of planning.
I also work in the area of business law and assist small to medium-sized business owners and their families in formation of the business entity, safeguarding their assets, and planning for the future of the business. In the area of Criminal/DUI Defense, I help people pick up the pieces to a forgettable incident and get back on track. My representation is provided for a wide variety of criminal allegations, which includes the most frequently cited charge in California – DUI. I treat all clients like family, protecting their interests as my own, and making sound recommendations to help accomplish their planning goals.
In order to stay in-tune with the latest trends and developments in these areas, I have become an active member in numerous organizations that provide quality, on-going training, so that I can better serve my clients. I became an active member of WealthCounsel, a national community of top estate planning & business law professionals committed to the highest standard of practice excellence. I have also joined the California DUI Lawyers Association, National College for DUI Defense, Inc., and the California Attorneys For Criminal Justice in order to stay in tune with all changes in law and further hone my skills as a litigation attorney for the area of Criminal & DUI Defense. These organizations, along with attending seminars taught by nationally recognized thought leaders, keeps me on the leading edge of the newest ideas and approaches in business, estate planning and criminal/DUI defense.
I believe that effective representation is critical to the financial, physical and emotional well-being of my clients and am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the process.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Business, Criminal Defense, DUI Defense or Estate Planning attorney for your matter, I would like to invite you to speak with us about your case.
