Mr. Anderson was raised in Long Beach, California. Mr. Anderson received his BA in history from Pitzer College and his Juris Doctor from the Boston College School of Law.
He began his career in 2002 when he joined the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. During his tenure as a prosecutor in Middlesex, Mr. Anderson prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony cases, from embezzlement to violent crimes in the adult and juvenile courts.
In 2006, Mr. Anderson returned to California to join the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office, where he supervised the Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team. Mr. Anderson also served as the gang prosecutor, prosecuting members of outlaw motorcycle gangs for operating a continual criminal enterprise, in addition to prosecuting other violent felonies.
In 2010, Mr. Anderson decided to try his hand at civil law when he took a position as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Contra Costa. In Contra Costa, Mr. Anderson represented the County in State and Federal court in a variety of matters including employment disputes, personal injury, and civil rights litigation. An experienced trial lawyer with almost 100 jury trials, Mr. Anderson is committed to exhausting all possible solutions in order to protect the rights of his clients.
