The art of negotiation and compromise is significant in the practice of law and such skills are almost always required in order to benefit the client's case. Fortunately I posess the skills of arbitration, mediation, negotiation, etc. During law school, I was a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Team where I learned to advocate for a client. I also spent an entire semester as a mediator at the El Cajon Small Claims court where I learned to be neutral while facilitating an agreement between the parties involved.
My ability to communicate well with clients from a variety of different backgrounds and languages enables clients to be comfortable with me. I serve clients that range from different ethnicities, social classes, economic backgrounds, and education levels. I strive to help my clients in any way I can, even making myself available during "time off."
I can asist with divorce and separation, child custody and visitation, child support and spousal alimony, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence and restraining orders, and paternity. Many times family law cases overlap with immigration and criminal legal issues which I can simultaneously assist you with as well based on my experience in criminal and immigration law.
If I cannot personally help you, I am always more than happy to send you in the right direction towards appropriate helpful resources.
